Job Description:
Lead Supply Chain execution
- Act as Ipsen key contact for the management of distributors regarding supply chain & distribution operations in accordance to Ipsen’s policies and GDP & GWP requirements
- Coordinate/ lead across functions in country / Region towards a supply requirements,aligned with upstream supplier
- Identify and communicate reasons for significant variances in the sales forecast KPI
- Ensure accurate forecast are maintained in system, in accordance to agreed timeline
- Accountable for accurate reporting of inventory levels in SAP and planning systems
- Monitor all costs related to Supply activities (transport costs, logistic service provider
- fees); identify and drive cost reduction exercises pertaining to supply chain
- Identify opportunities & risks to drive business performance in line with targets
- Ensure early identification & minimization of obsolescent stocks and subsequent write off
- Lead the project for 3PL/4PL selection to optimize the business model and implementation in collaboration with quality
- Manage daily operations including PO management, warehousing and transportation with 3PL, reverse logistics
- Coordinate and attend logistic service providers/partner stocktakes
- Manage the Order to cash process including sales order processing and master data maintenance
- Accountable for monthly closing on inventory and sales including demand sales
- Ensure serialization reporting to KPIS compliant with health authority requirement
Demand Planning and S&OP
- Develop and lead Country demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation across the country / Region
- Develop demand scenarios and requirements for commercial products and launch planning
- Lead and continuously improve the Demand Planning process for all locally distributed finished products coordinating with cross-functional activities
- Lead an effective Demand review and drive a consensus approach by working with Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain partners
- Establish mechanisms to drive improvement in demand forecast accuracy
- Share daily sales reports and monthly sales reports with internal stakeholders
Logistic and Compliance Management
- Manage and track inbound deliveries, including customs clearance, goods receipts, and goods release for distribution
- Manage and assess logistics supply chain vendor’s performance and reports operational metrics (KPIs), including regulatory reporting requirements when required.
- Ensure the requirements and business processes associated with goods are efficient and compliant with local regulations
- Root Cause Analysis and Process improvements
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to implement process improvements
- Lead and assist in the creation and improvements of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies Coordinate with quality team on deviations/CAPA for incidents that occur during local distribution / importation
- Comply with supply and inventory processes : SOS program, Stock Out/Low Stock processes (including pro-activiely raising draft amber/red alert as per group SOP)
- Respect the terms of the internal Supply Agreement and proactiviely inform central team and Site supply chain of major events that may impact supply.
- Ensure adaptation of supply plan and inventory considering regulatory constraints by discussing proactive implementation timelines with RA and Supply Planner.
Distributor/Wholesaler Management
- Communicate with distributor and wholesalers for operation process of tender and price discount
- Ensure the accurate price database maintenance for any tender and price discount to customers
- Manage the product return process as per local SOP
- Handle issues on product return with distributor and wholesalers
- Manage credit of customers and commercial committee as per group guidance
- Support demand sales reporting generation and accuracy check with cross-functional team and third party
- Lead the communication with alliance partner on product supply, product sample management and any issue
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Accredited Higher education in Logistics/Supply Chain Qualification/Training is a plus
Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, with a minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in leadership position or leading the project preferred
- Experience in a GMP/GDP/ISO environment preferred
- Strong business acumen, adept at aligning supply chain strategies with overall business goals
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply chain challenges
- Good understanding of applicable regulations related to supply of pharmaceutical medicines
- Strong experience in working directly with supply chain and distribution partners
