Job description: Apex Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Senior Manager, Private Equity, to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time remote role offers an attractive salary and benefits package. You’ll work with a portfolio of offshore alternative funds as part of a collaborative and inclusive team.
As a Fund Administrator, you will work closely with the team to ensure high-quality client service.
If you were already working for us in this Account Executive role, here are some things you would have done this week:
- Manage the performance and development of direct reports and their teams
- Manage client relationships with a portfolio of offshore alternative funds
- Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively
- Obtain and enhance detailed client-specific knowledge to assist in providing more holistic solutions
- Undertake reviewer responsibilities for accounts linked to simple and complex structures
- Review periodic management accounts, capital calls and distributions, capital account statements, investorsâ reporting templates, year-end financial statements, etc.
To succeed in this flexible role, you will need to be a graduate in accounting or finance and a qualified accountant or non-graduate who has obtained a professional accounting qualification. You will also require:
- At least seven years of experience gained within fund administration, alternative asset management and/or public accounting
- A solid knowledge of the regulatory and financial reporting regime for alternative funds and expertise in onboarding new funds from an administrator’s perspective.
