You will assist the Fund Accounting Head and department in overseeing the day-to day operations. Act as an important liaison between the fund accounting team and other departments within the organization. Role is based in Taiwan.
What you will do
Fund Accounting & Settlement:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fund accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices
- Ensure accurate and timely NAV calculations, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards
- Oversee and improve settlement processes for various financial instruments, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards
- Collaborate with relevant partners to resolve settlement issues and discrepancies
Project and Change Management:
- Lead and participate in fund accounting projects, ensuring successful implementation within established timelines
- Drive change initiatives within the fund accounting department, promoting efficiency and continuous improvement
Others:
- Effective communicator and collaborator with excellent time management skills and analytical abilities. Work with team head on facilitating and implementing process improvements, enhanced controls and quality of daily operations and collaboration
- Can navigate complex financial instruments and regulations within the investment management industry
- Good team spirit and proven ability to engage and motivate teammates with positive and can-do attitude, leading by examples
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus. SITCA license is a must
- Proven experience in Fund Accounting, with at least 8 years of managerial experience
- Strong understanding of Fund Accounting, Investment operations, Settlement related experiences and industry regulations
- Good English communication skills in both written and verbal
- Advanced in excel skills, Power Automate user is a plus
- Experienced in coordinating projects, events, and team activities
