My client is leading player in the Marine industry, currently hiring a Finance talent with strong understanding of IFRS and SEC regulations as well as SOX compliance to join the team.
Requirements
- CPA/ CA, Degree qualified from NTU, NUS, SMU or reputable universities
- Prior Big 4 background can be helpful
- Must have exposure in a US listed company with strong understanding of IFRS and SEC regulations as well as SOX compliance
- Good reporting writing and communication skills
- Traits: Mature, team player, detail oriented, meticulous, proactive and results-driven
Job Scope
This position is an individual contributor, reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing financial reports in compliance with US SEC guidelines. You will review financial disclosures, provide guidance on complex accounting issues including impairment assessments, revenue recognition etc, and be the primary point of contact for SEC reporting. You will coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, such as legal counsel, Board of Directors, auditors, accounting team in the course of your work, and ensure integrity of financial reporting is maintained.
