Role Introduction
Reports to: Head of Finance Customer Lifestyle
To look after loyalty fraud, support and coordinate with key stakeholders on data governance, regulatory compliance, risk assessment and business contingency for the Cathay Lifestyle Line of Business.
Key Responsibilities
Loyalty Fraud
- Review overall programme data and market trend to identify suspicious activities patterns.
- Design and evaluate procedures for mitigating measures.
- Mobilize resources across departments to develop solutions for loyalty fraud management.
- Initiate and lead various fraud management enhancement projects.
- Provide recommendation and advice on corrective actions to business partners and operation teams regarding suspicious fraudulent activities
- Lead the quarterly cross departmental Loyalty Fraud Committee Meeting.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Assessment
- Lead and ensure Lifestyle BUs collaborate with internal and external advisor on potential compliance issues.
- Identify potential compliance issue based on Lifestyle’s context.
- Implement Group Compliance Policies.
- Maintain and present Lifestyle’s risk register to senior management.
Data Governance & Data Privacy
- Ensure alignment with Group Data Governance policies.
- Ensure the proper implementation of data governance across Lifestyle.
- Ensure appropriate measures and controls are properly enforced to comply with internal data governance and external data privacy law.
- Support the implementation of data governance action plans and mobilize stakeholders across Lifestyle
- Collaborate with CPA Compliance Team and give professional advice on data privacy issue based on Lifestyles ‘context.
Business Contingency
- Prepare and update the Lifestyle’s business contingency plan according to GSORM’s instruction.
- Build up awareness of the business contingency plan among key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor degree holder preferably in Business or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data governance and risk management.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of data governance and risk management best practice.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to details.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Putonghua is a plus).
