This is a 1-year contract position as a Manager, Business Development in the CET Academy.
[What you will be working on]
The Manager, Business Development for NACE@NP will be a catalyst for expanding our presence in corporate workplace learning. This role requires a results-driven individual with a proven track record in business development, corporate sales, and a profound understanding of organisational learning needs in the contemporary workplace.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Stay abreast of workplace learning trends, contributing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential areas for innovation in workplace learning.
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on workplace learning, identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth.
Incorporate workplace learning trends into the overall business strategy to address evolving organisational needs.
Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships with organisations and industry associations to enhance workplace learning offerings.
Establish partnerships that enable access to cutting-edge workplace learning tools and methodologies.
Work closely with instructional design and training teams to create highly customised workplace learning solutions, incorporating the latest industry practices.
Ensure programmes are designed to meet the evolving demands of the corporate workforce.
Explore and integrate innovative learning technologies into workplace learning solutions.
Collaborate with the technology team to enhance the digital learning experience for corporate clients.
Generate leads through various channels, including events, networking, database and digital marketing.
Manage the lead conversion process to ensure a high conversion / closure / application rate.
Plan and coordinate events, seminars, and industry forums to enhance networking opportunities.
Represent the institution at relevant conferences and forums to showcase our capabilities and foster relationships.
Lead the corporate sales to achieve conversion targets and revenue goals, emphasising workplace learning solutions.
Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in corporations, promoting our workplace learning programmes as essential for employee development.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific workplace learning and development needs, ensuring tailored solutions aligned with organisational goals.
Foster continuous engagement with clients, providing insights on the latest workplace learning methodologies and technologies.
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and business development activities.
Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
[What we are looking for]
At least 4 years of working experience in the areas of Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development and corporate sales within the corporate workplace learning sector.
In-depth knowledge of workplace learning trends and technologies.
Robust, outgoing people person who prefers to self-introduce than be introduced.
Proactive go-getter with strong growth mindset.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
