Job description: Summary of Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Korea accounting and finance functions
- Responsible for Korea financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions
- Developing efficiencies and process improvements within work streams
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties eg external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal.
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
Role Requirement:
- 5 years’ experience in similar role
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both Korean and English)
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
- Desire to get into the details and drive financial excellence.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent time management skills and deadline driven.
