Job description: New Deal Origination / Execution
Produce and finalise credit papers, and discuss with risk management and other stakeholders
Completion of annual credit reviews and portfolio monitoring
Conduct due diligence, including business, credit, financial, regulatory, and legal diligence
Prepare and present transaction proposals to internal stakeholders
Be involved in the negotiation of term sheets, facility agreements and other ancillary documentation
Manage client onboarding, including set-up in ING systems and oversight of KYC process
Coordinate transaction closing, including liaising with risk management and loan operations.
Keeping up to date with ING’s legal policy requirements and general market trends
Portfolio Management
Prepare quarterly portfolio reports
Prepare annual risk rating updates
Process loan modification/amendment requests
Review ongoing reporting deliverables, including financials, compliance certificates, borrowing bases, and valuation reports
Distribute reporting deliverables to bank syndicates
Track covenant compliance
Prepare collateral monitoring reports
Manage portfolio valuation engagements and client audits
Manage ongoing KYC maintenance
Maintain various department and industry databases/trackers
General
Stay well-informed of trends in the industry and the position of competitors
Prepare ad-hoc/general research assignments
Liaise with other product specialists and departments throughout ING, including risk management, syndications, loan operations, financial markets, compliance and KYC desk and build a strong working relationship with these stakeholders
Should be able to multitask and deliver tasks on a timely manner
Ensure that clients receive an excellent level of service
Your Profile:
Qualification/Education
Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Law
Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Extensive transaction execution experience within an international financial institution
Experience/Knowledge
2-4 years of fund financing/ investment / corporate banking experience (or other relevant field)
Credit skills and experience creating proposal from the ground up would be beneficial
