We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for managing end to end BAU Reference Data Governance process for HSBC Technology. Coordination of the Governance requirements across country / regional / global Finance Coordinators and Approvers.
- Responsible for overall Governance and control of the Technology CAMs which are key to ensuring that Technology charges are transparent and agreed by the Businesses and Regions / Countries, thus ensuring improved accountability and reduced number of disputes in Charges to the business.
- Engage with Suppliers and Customers as mediatory to ensure billing disputes are resolved and under-recovery is reduced
- Formulate the business logic, design BRDs for change projects for TechCharges with respect to GPDM and Discover dashboards. Coordinate with the GPDM and Discover development team for implementation.
- Responsible for MI such as Under-recovery due to missing timesheets and Dispute reports for specific countries for Governance Groups
- Responsible to govern and maintain resource supplier details in all applicable systems i.e. GPDM, HIBS, Clarity and Pioneer.
- Responsible to ensure resource consumption is accurately captured to support Tech recharges process.
- Responsible for ensuring effective governance of the processes, as well as ensuring that the outcomes and outputs are aligned with function-wide governance and process demands
- Investing in and maintain effective relationships with all functions across Technology, Finance, HR and other functional partners
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Looking for 6- 10 Years of experience into IT
- Expertise and knowledge in relation to the Global IT Function and the services that the IT COO function provides
- Demonstrated business knowledge, ideally experience of working within a complex global business unit
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology development and infrastructure and how this can be used to meet business needs
- A bend of mind towards understand of Technology charges and billing. Understand the impact of incorrect or untimely
charges/billing * Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
- Experience of managing within a complex matrix environment
- Experience working across cultures
- Understanding of the HSBC Group and its strategy, structures and processes
- Knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitor and market
