Job description: What the role is:
Reporting to the Director (Finance), you will lead the Business Partnership Branch in Finance Division in strategic and operational financial planning, including cashflow and liquidity management for CAAS.
What you will be working on:
You will provide mission critical financial/operational information to drive financial performance, including impactful trends and variance analysis, forecast and budgets. You will provide high quality and easily accessible data, analysis, risk sensing and scenario planning. You will also develop financial models and business analysis to support strategic initiatives to review critical strategic and financial decisions. You will drive financial performance to achieve value-for-money outcomes through financial and procurement advisory and decision support in project planning, contract awards and management, as well as operational and strategic planning. You will identify cost-effective funding strategies and establish appropriate pricing methodologies to set fees and charges. You will also optimise returns on investment of funds.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in finance or business, including Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance planning and analysis is required
- Solid experience in leading business partnership
- Experience in procurement is advantageous

- Strong partnering, influencing and interpersonal relationship skills. This is a cross-functional role that requires collaboration with other divisions and stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. You will need to be able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
