The mission of the APAC Center of Excellence (CoE) for Treasury & Corporate Finance Team is to extend expertise and optimize our processes organization by providing treasury & corporate finance support for the whole APAC Hub. NEAPAC cluster is highly exposed to many treasury complexity and specificities. Consequently, it is critical for the APAC CoE for Treasury & Corporate Finance to provide NEAPAC affiliates with the right level of expertise.
Among the main roles, the CoE members covering NEAPAC will manage bank relationships and Group compliance supporting local CFO / teams and will ensure all affiliates (Japan, Korea, Australia & New Zealand) have enough funds to run their operations. They will also manage long-term financing and customer’s credit risk outlook/monitoring. CoE members are the direct point of contact of local CFOs, BSC and clusters for treasury and corporate finance matters requiring expertise:
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
1. FX/Commodity Risk Management and Credit Risk Management
Support and provide guidance for the proper commercial terms and conditions about FX rate and commodity price in line with group policy
Understand underlying business and FX exposure across the scope.
Validate hedging strategy both FX and interest rate.
Analyse FX gain and loss
Ensure the implementation of the KTP Web tool and FX deals reporting when local hedging is performed due to local constraints (Aim, benefits, etc).
Follow up investment and projects and monitor credit risk of Top customers
Contribute to customer credit analysis for CPR/RIC
2. Cash and Liquidity Management
Own the full process and KPIs of Cash and Liquidity management with the entities and BSC team.
Maintain local cash pooling structure within the entities.
Supervise the treasury accounting processes performed by BSC: weekly cash flow forecast, monthly operational actual cash flow
Manage short-term cash projection, and cash pooling with the support of the BSC
Ensure all reports related to Treasury and cash projection management are done on time by BSC (and signed-off by the local CFO)
Manage financial fraud and dispute cases
3.Funding and WCR
Help CFOs to validate business plan and Target/RFs for long-term planning of equity/dividend and loans / financing
Take the ownership to put in place short term and long term funding, as well as the repayment and refinancing of debt.
Prepare business plan for application of capital injection (CoFi) and/or internal debt (CoFi) and external debt (RFP of banking loan).
Align with Group’s general terms and conditions, collaborate with Legal team to validate all the banking clauses.
Monitor working capital and assist affiliates in improving their DSO, DIO and DPO.
Drive implementation of factoring, supply chain finance, and leasing when necessary.
4. Performance, Quality & Conformity Management
Ensure Service Level Agreement Compliance and report any dysfunction
Ensure accounting rules are aligned with corporate standards and properly applied
Supervise the implementation of process improvements by BSC
Manage and update Treasury procedures if needed.
Manage Treasury Internal Control Reviews across NEAPAC in coordination with Group Treasury and Head of CoE
Define BCP with support of the entity and the BSC to ensure the continuity of treasury activity
Review Treasury Group reporting and intercompany reports, monitor the deployment of any treasury project initiated by the Cluster or Hub (encrypted payments, etc).
5. Bank Relationship Management and Treasury Administration
Centralize regional bank relationship, locate quality bank services, and align banking terms and conditions
Bank Accounts Administration (opening, closing, updating authorized signatories, banking access rights…etc.) or supervision in case done by local admin.
Drive the reduction of the number of bank accounts across the entities, review the bank fees and decide on an action plan to reduce transaction costs.
Schedule regular meetings with core and local banks if any to review their performance and if needed take action to improve the level of the service
Provide information to answer queries from management & external parties jointly with local teams
Provide treasury information/documentations as required by banks/financial institutions

Very fluent in speaking English
Solid knowledge and experiences on cash management (domestic and cross-border cash pool, e-banking platform and host-to-host connection, cash forecast modelling)
Strong commitment on project management (manage strategy, resource, process and quality)
